And you are not answering my question. Do you think the Koran evil or not? I would call it a book of bad ideas, some of them are very toxic.

There are three counter arguments to your line of reasoning.

1, historical argument.
The texts of the Koran are only valid in the context when they were written or formulated. Fine, then all the texts of the Koran has no modern meaning and none of them should be treated seriously. All arguments based on the Koran is moot. They are just another Arabian Night. If you are arguing this way, probably few have problems with it. Just don't claim anything Islamic is special. They are just nonsense talk.

2, theological argument.
Let us assume the words of the Koran are the words of your God and always correct, anytime, anywhere. In that case, the context you claim is not written in the Koran, therefore, your words have no meaning when compared to the words of your God. If the Koran says kill the infidels, it means kill the infidels wherever you find them.

3, practical argument.
If Islam creates constant stream of Jihadhists, there is no point in arguing some are not Jihadhists. Those others are irrelevant. When Islamic state massacred Yazidi men and enslaved Yazidi women as sex slaves, they are exactly following the orders of the Koran. They come from all over Europe, and Middle East. It is very hard to argue that Islam, namely, the Koran, is not the source of evil when all of them are Islam, and when they themselves say that they are following the orders of the Koran.
