Cold messaging a regular person [B2C] in DMs? Completely agree, please don't. But pitching to businesses [B2B] is a different story. If your art solves a specific business problem, like branding, commercial illustration, or marketing assets, a professional cold pitch is pretty standard in my opinion.
Taking line art less seriously was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It’s saved me a lot of time when drawing.
I mean, what’s the point of making the line art super clean when I’m just going to overpaint most of it at the end anyway?
@DopplerFoxcoon Repeated customers are great! Working with them is a lot easier because you would already know on how to communicate with them. Plus, the communication is usually a lot more chill due to the trust you've made with them before
