Wow. Let’s put that in some ‘major’ context, hey @TheVoiceRealm..?
Boasting about being called a ‘major player’ in an article berating you for your foul practices, is like you putting your drunk driving mugshot as your Facebook profile because you “like the lighting”.
And it’s for these very reasons that they’ll never be truly accepted in the professional VO community or welcome at VO conferences the world over.
Firstly because they’re beyond disrespectful and dishonest, but mainly because they’d have to face us.
#facts
I guess it had to happen sooner or later. We had a good run though… We can still see you though @TheVoiceRealm.
You can run, but you can’t hide your legs…
Says a lot about a company that keeps this as their pinned tweet.
“Other websites gouge talent with fees” is actually “we take high commission on very poorly paid jobs”
Also, the responses to this are also *highly* representative.
@AVOsJOURNEY@Voquent@voices@Voice123@WhisperRoomInc@Upwork@fiverr @acx_com @SennheiserUSA Can only assume you mean the actual TVR and not our Twitter handle. Love that you want to educate people on best practice, ensuring your rates are fair and that you treat each other with respect, however you definitely can’t say all of that and point at TVR as a positive example.
Less than 30mins after our previous tweet warning of #TheVoiceRealm’s deplorable TV/Radio rates they post another.
It’s almost as if they *really* don’t care about the #voiceover industry and the voices that make up their very lifeblood.

Your regular reminder that #TheVoiceRealm doesn’t care about the #voiceover industry.
TV/Radio spots should be used under licence and not bought out in perpetuity. The fee below will be a fraction of what it should be.
Love doing VO? Walk away from TVR. You’re better than this.

3: #Avoid#TheVoiceRealm
Some of you may/may not have seen the recent set of tweets.
We contacted an individual with links to @TheVoiceRealm who then blocked us from DMing them.
This stems from their name appearing on TVR's Trademark application.
[MINI THREAD]
Either Mr Stampfli didn't tell us the whole truth, didn't have just "an account", was indeed the Chief Marketing Officer of TVR and knows a *hell* of a lot more...
...OR The Voice Realm have fraudulently used an innocent person's name to obtain a US Trademark.
