@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 The only question I would ask is, if the game came out, is there any explanation that would convince you that they handled it well? Or is that not even a possibility in your eyes. Because at that point it really just comes down to you not liking the fact that sheοΏ½οΏ½s a Witcher.
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 doesnβt prove that the lore is broken, and Ciri herself is not a normal character, her elder blood could be part of the reason for all I know. Rare Exceptions/Destiny are part of her story and again we donβt know how that fits because the game isnβt out yet
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 I get you think there isnβt a good reason for it but again we donβt have the answer for that right now without going into what might happen, and Iβll admit I donβt have a clue
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 Iβll agree that consistency and logic inside the lore matters, but fans donβt have the authority over how the story turns out. a creative decision isnβt bad because it changes something fundamental. the part cdpr has to figure out is whether itβs justified
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 Side Note: People will complain about the most stupidest thing even though they care about the game.
Also I understand and can appreciate that you said that youβre not saying that Iβm doing that, I have to state that so it doesnβt seem like I didnβt read that part
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 Cuz what it comes down to truly depends on what someone wants in a game and what they donβt want. reason why I donβt go in depth about the powers is not cuz I donβt care, itβs cuz Iβm a dumbass and am humble enough to admit when I canβt go in depth on certain game worlds 4/4
@_LMD2023@SKY_UPz Very understandable, thatβs the beauty of cyberpunk 2077 is that it somehow fits everyone no matter what, itβs inclusive in the best way possible because it isnβt shoved in your face but instead itβs naturally there because of the game world/lore.
@_LMD2023@SKY_UPz my favorite example besides gta was cyberpunk. Because you can make someone ugly or hot, and there was a variety of characters that were attractive and unattractive. But yeah I definitely agree in terms of having that mindset with RPGS, plus it makes it more fun.
@_LMD2023@SKY_UPz Yeah definitely, my middle ground is having the main playable characters as attractive while the side characters can be a variety of attractive/ugly. (I realize i literally just described GTA 6 XD)
@DinoS41848@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 You mentioned a movie character which is probably easier to give examples of, Iβm talking about games. What game characters are considered universally a girlboss?
@_LMD2023@SKY_UPz Ngl that makes me appreciate GTA 6 for having both ugly and beautiful characters at the same time. For example this is the tavern owner in Pauline which arguably still looks attractive in some way. (Not saying thatβs a bad thing ofc)
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 I will add that with the powers it wouldβve been cool however then I could also people crying about βwhy is a woman more powerful than geraltβ or βThis isnβt Witcher if youβre playing some OP characterβ so either way there would be hate ngl
@Infamous_Design@GameRoll_@DrLoomis14 Thats fair but that definitely depends on personal preference. The author had a different idea for her arc which was different from becoming a full Witcher, he did note that he never stated that adult woman strictly couldnβt survive the mutations. But the power debate is fair imo
