@Ralphy7821@LeeandLie It can still cause strain because it still needs to send through the capture. It’s not as much as if it was on her gaming PC but it’s still there.
@LeeandLie Actual tech support service here, for one I’d honestly recommend turning off Vsync. It’s different for everyone but at least in my experience it does more harm than good. Continue in reply —>
@LeeandLie For four, if it’s only capping out after a few hours, it’s possible that some programs are memory leaking (when a program uses part of your RAM but doesn’t release it after a certain time frame. Depending on how much RAM you have, that places more strain on your CPU & RAM. —>
@LeeandLie For three, how many things do you have actively running at the same time? I’m talking Vtube Studio, games, discord, OBS, etc. Depending on how much is running in the background it can fill your CPU cycles and processes up real quick. Check out the task manager. —>
@Charriii5@bluestargear I second that. And with YouTube’s recent history, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s economic motivations for them forcing this.
@YokaSiri There’s a few reasons that can cause it, but a likely reason is Narcolepsy, a condition that can cause sleepiness during the day. Another possible one is Idiopathic Hypersomnia, which put simply, is a combination of Narcolepsy and Hypersomnia (tendency to sleep too much)
@paper_bagu @YokaSiri Sleeping too much is something known as Hypersomnia. Depending on your brain’s chemical balance you may just have insomnia, or a combination of the two, which is more uncommon.
