@shogo0032 I saw videos of their first android before, was pretty good on the sculpting design, but still very basic in animation, rather curious how their new model|models would look like.
Still probably too expensive (when i run an art shop i thought it would be nice to have an android)
The robots it seems are to be marketed under UWORLD (优世界) brand, and are available for pre-order on jd . com with a 3000CNY deposit securing the access to the first batch until July 15. The release is announced to be on June 30.

Got highlighted on the discord server, that UBTECH (优必选科技) "teased" on their bilibili account an android robot. They previously made and shown an android called "Una", installed at "Beijing World of Robots", but to little publicity.

Got the video filmed at ATR greenlit by Hiroshi Ishiguro @hiroshiishiguro Laboratories, so here's the visit to ATR: two Yamatoroid (ヤマトロイド) androids as part of "Bidirectional Avatars Communication System" research.

Yamatoroid previously used at the Future of Life pavilion, one of the set of two, at Hiroshi Ishiguro's Laboratory at ATR. As with other visits, I'm planning to compile a video (which I also will be sharing with Hiroshi Ishiguro's Laboratory).
I wonder what is it with the design of current humanoid robots being made intentionally spooky? Is it an aversion for any creative professionals and artists that "techbros" behind startups have? Few seem to care about artistic side of things like e.g. Enchanted Tools does.
At the entrance to ATR (which houses Hiroshi Ishiguro's Laboratories) there's also an AVITA virtual assistant screen (was offline with idle animation while I was visiting).
New company Yanxi Tech (演犀科技) presented their android head "Yansyn-X2".
They announced the head as the first android capable of tears (not actually the first, but still quite unusual).
