Fallon Humphries Earns Prestigious Award as Mississippi's Top High School Volleyball Player

Humphries has distinguished herself as the best high school volleyball player in Mississippi, earning a prestigious award recognizing excellence on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. Humphries is the first volleyball player from Madison-Ridgeland Academy (MRA) to receive this honor, delivered an extraordinary senior season, cementing her legacy.

Humphries recorded 513 kills, 213 digs, 100 aces, and 25 blocks during the season, with an impressive .578 kill percentage and a .395 hitting percentage. Over her high school career, she amassed 1,092 kills and 298 aces, demonstrating her dominance as an outside hitter.

The 6-foot-1 standout, a North Florida signee, played a pivotal role in leading MRA to a 36-8 record and its first-ever MAIS Division I state title, securing a 3-0 victory over Jackson Academy in the championship match.

Congratulations Fallon on this well-deserved recognition. She joins back-to-back honoree Kennedi Sanders (2020-2021; 2021-2022: Track) and Josh Hubbard (2022-2023: Basketball) to become the fourth Gatorade Player of the Year for the Patriots.
