@CrepuscularSkyy I mostly agree, but it never really wowed me. In the early days it was consistently pretty good but never great.

It's funny you mentioned that because I posted about this after thinking about what the best arc in each series was, but I came up blank with MHA. 😭

I enjoy some of the modern battle shonen out there, but I've never really clicked with it the same way I do with older series. There's just not enough time to get attached since arcs have gotten a lot shorter across the board.

WSJ is way more trigger happy when it comes to cancelling series these days, so I can't blame the authors too much, but it's a real shame you can't get that slow buildup anymore.
