🎂 Happy Birthday Roger!🎂

Yesterday we were able to celebrate @QAHospitalRadio volunteer Roger on his 90th birthday.

Roger has volunteered on the radio for over 50 years - 25 of those have been within the NHS.

We hope Roger had a fantastic day and wish him many happy returns!

Chairman Melloney Poole joined us and thanked our volunteers for their hard work. Melloney chose this as her last official event before her term of chairman finishes at the end of the year. She has always shown support for our volunteers and they had the chance to wish her well☀️

We are so lucky that over 30 of our volunteers have offered to help across 50+ shifts in our new ED this week. By helping the team, they are ensuring a smoother transition for our staff and patients.

A massive congratulations to our volunteer Val who has raised an incredible £1000 for our Paediatrics Emergency Department⭐️

Val is very talented and creative and ran a raffle for staff at @PHU_NHS to win two stuffed animals that she knitted at home.
