I’m just a lowly anon account with few followers. We are often looked down on here on X. But here is a bit about me. I am first a Christian. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I am a husband. My wife has always stayed at home. She has spoiled me all through the years.

Spent today rambling around SW Va with my wife photographing churches & scenery. We brought Maggie our poodle on this trip. We've decided to take her places instead of boarding her; we have done some short trial run trips recently. Nothing better than spending time with my wife.

Woke up with leg cramps last night. Standing usually helps. Trying to stand I cramped and fell out of the bed; laid in the floor trying to get into a less painful position while trying not to pull my sleep machine down on top of my head. Wasn't funny then but this is now.🤣😅😂

@WonderWomaNinja I make it and she manages it. We talk about large purchases. She won't spend money we don't have so just asking tells me we have it. I ask because I have no idea how much we have at any given time. This works great for us.

@Noash22 Reese's cup with chocolate ice cream or the chocolate dipped strawberry with chocolate ice cream. I've also recently gotten hooked on the mochamoolatte.

@lisavsworld We did this in 2008 while taking my son to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame for his 16th birthday. My wife is a history nut and loved it.

It's almost apple season in NC. It's about time to start making some day trips to the mountains. Granddad's donuts, Jimmy Nix honeycrisp apples, and mountain views are an unbeatable combination.

I had an eye Dr. appointment today. I did all the predoctor stuff and am sitting in the chair with all the eye exam stuff around me waiting on the Dr. to come in and I get text. It is the Eyecare Center telling me my appointment is cancelled.The Dr. didn't seem surprised at all.

@mrs_alyse They practice every Tuesday and Wednesday. We took a dolphin cruise in May. The cruise included docking on a island and watching the Blue Angels. We saw dolphins and the Blue Angels. It was pretty cool.

108 degrees. I'm getting to old for this. Maybe I can hold out another 10 years if I can't work it out to retire earlier. I may go back to night shift for the last few years.

@UpTambourine Me and my wife have done this for years too. No radio, no distractions, just good conversation and seeing some really unexpected cool things in the process.
