@Dispatch_Graph Man I wanted to call my engine VENG, I thought it sounded cool. Turns out there's thing with this name already(some aerospace company) and I changed it to VDENG which doesn't sound as cool... (I'll rename it at some point prob)
@PiggyKropotkinn When it comes to locations I felt like every game had atleast few harder locations to push through. Also I'm just talking about the difficulty that I found these games to be, not about the point of quote tweet :)
@PiggyKropotkinn Ds3 has a bit harder bosses but it's not too bad. Sekiro was challenging but imo the difficulty is exaggerated (I love isshin). When it comes to difficulty, mine ranking would be elden > sekiro > ds3 > ds2 > ds1.
Resuming work on my Minecraft-like voxel engine for the GameCube, matching legacy console edition render distance with an infinite world size. This is an early 2024 indev build. Targeting release of the 2024 build within 1-2 months.
Meanwhile, I will bring the GameCube port of my engine back up to speed with the latest 2026 build.
so I'm writing a little raylib-inspired framework in odin, and as one of the 3D examples I'm trying out a "snake but on a sphere"... it's surprisingly fun when things get fast!
wearing both an apple vision pro and an meta quest 3. 38 claude code agents on one side. 24 grok waifus on the other. 5 chatgpts to review their work. I'm producing over 17000 lines of code per second. It can already "Hello", currently working on "World". Never stop shipping

Hello everyone!
I am available for work (full time position/internship) anywhere in the world with priority going to the EU, starting June 2026.
My past experience at Quantic Dream and UBISOFT as an intern have strengthened my skills as a graphics programmer in AAA and am now looking for the next step in my career.
My skills include C/C++, graphics programming using APIs like Vulkan, Metal, DirectX 12, and console APIs. I am also familiar with modern rendering techniques including GPU driven rendering, raytracing and more.
If you're looking for a engine/graphics programmer to join your team, or if you know someone that might be interested, feel free to DM me!
