Today, Belgian police blocked me — a sitting Member of the European Parliament — from entering the European Parliament for nearly an hour.

They were on the phone with Brussels Mayor Philippe Close, who was personally directing their actions. We have video footage of the incident.

The Mayor prevented me from delivering over half a million European citizens’ signatures for the @SaveEuropeAct initiative.

This is unacceptable.

The EU is a union of 27 member states. No single country — and certainly not one socialist mayor of a single city — has the right to decide which MEPs from other nations can carry out their democratic duties.

Zum Dank für die Zerstörung unserer Energieinfrastruktur schickt Merz fröhlich immer weiter Milliardengeschenke nach Kiew, die dort im Korruptionssumpf versickern. Es reicht! Diese Veruntreuung von Steuergeld muss umgehend beendet werden. Anstatt uns weiter zum Gespött der Welt zu machen, sollte sich die Bundesregierung darum bemühen, wieder preiswertes russisches Gas über den noch intakten Strang der Pipeline zu importieren. Das wäre eine große Entlastung für Wirtschaft und Verbraucher!

Es gibt wirklich Leute, die glauben, dass die Regierung endlich alle Probleme lösen kann, wenn man ihr nur noch ein bisschen mehr Steuergeld in die Hand drückt.

Heute liegt die Staatsquote bei 50%, die Abgabenquote bei 42%.

1910 lag die Staatsquote bei etwa 15%, die Abgabenquote bei 10%.

Die Regierung arbeitet heute so ineffizient wie nie zuvor.

Und je mehr Mittel man ihr gibt, desto schlimmer wird es.
