We're planning elections in Nov. that may look vastly different. To ensure that folks don't risk their health & safety in exercising their constitutional right to vote, we need funding (and policy ASAP!) to support flex options like expanded #VoteByMail, staff early voting, etc.

Earlier this month, I proposed that we consider redirecting potential saved revenue due to COVID-related furloughs or non-hires into small aid grants to our local businesses. TBD how much $ this might end up being, but while every little bit helps, it surely wouldn’t be “enough.”
