I will continue to serve on the City Council until the inauguration and I’m going to need your help to look out for the Westside. I look forward to the next steps of this incredible journey with all of you!

While the results that came in were obviously not what our team had hoped for, I am proud of what our team was able to accomplish! Last night I reached out to Alejandro to congratulate him, and I look forward to working with him as we approach the hand-off for the ppl of D2.
I’m going to wrap this up by once again thanking everyone for this amazing process, and I’m looking forward to continuing to do the work for the community here in D2.
What a fun way to kick off Election Day! This morning my team visited the corner of 800 South and 900 West for a honk and wave! All those honks really got the team going, we’re ready to start canvassing and making phone calls!
Tomorrow is SLC's first Ranked Choice Election! We are getting out the vote in D2, and if you haven't voted yet there is still time! Ballots must be postmarked today for your ballot to count, so to make sure your vote is counted, take your ballot to a drop box instead!
My campaign is going to be hosting an Election Night Watch Party at Maud's Café tomorrow night starting at 7:30 PM! We are going to be providing food and drinks to our guests, and I'm so excited to celebrate this campaign process with family, friends, and our AMAZING volunteers.
With just 4 days left before the election, I was lucky enough to be joined by former Utah State House and Senate legislator (and my father in law) Fred Fife. Fred and his late wife Ila Rose are shining examples of public service I’ve drawn so much inspiration from.
Fred dropped his ballot at the drop box at the Salt Lake County Government Building on 2001 S State Street, but voters in District 2 can also drop theirs at the River’s Bend Senior Center on 1300 W 300 N.
There’s just 5 days left before Salt Lake City’s first Ranked Choice Election! Today we filled out our ballots (and ranked me as our first choice!) and my wife Katherine helped me model to show the easiest way to return our ballots - by mail!
Katherine dropped hers right in our mailbox, and I dropped mine at the mailbox right at the Smith’s on 9th West. If you are voting by mail, your ballot must be postmarked by November 1st!
