I'm running for Ward 19 City Councillor.
My opponents can afford to campaign full time. I can't. I need to work AND campaign.
They have access to large donors. I have a ward full of people who deserve better.
The difference matters.
One of us. Fighting for ALL of us.
When a neo Con s++t poster makes a wild claim, and you politely ask them to defend that claim with data, this is the result. They are all spineless liers.
@edwardrow The part also has a history of anointing people for advancement, with their Nomination campaigns mostly dog and pony shows. Nate's popularity with constituents plus his naked ambition rocked that boat.
@edwardrow That's a big part of it. JT and MC also run tight ships that don't tolerate dissent or independent thought. Fall in line or else. Nate acts like an independent (part of his appeal tbh) and that didn't sit well with party brass.
@DechampsAlan Yep. Summer Nudel. Who could very well be a wonderful person. But also welcomed the endorsement from ABC so that was enough for me. ABC is a BEY creation though so I doubt they get involved in other wards.
Congratulations to Tanveer. I don't know much about him, but the choice of the grifters over at ABC TO lost, so this is a positive development on that basis alone.
Tanveer Shahnawaz has a proven record of community service, helping ensure Beaches—East York's priorities are heard in Ottawa.
As our Liberal candidate in the upcoming by-election, he’s ready to work with Mark Carney and our Liberal team to build a stronger future for all.
BREAKING NEWS: Gav has secret information about Chow provided exclusively to him by his anonymous network. This scandalous information will never see the light of day, but it's bad. Cuz you know, "trust me bro".
@VoteJeff4BEY Cool. Your position is also 100% subjective and based on your own values and worldview. I live quite close to the village and what I'm hearing from my neighbours about Chow would make you blush.
@abctoronto_ "Hey Toronto! We just invented a random stat because construction projects have never happened in this city before Mayor Chow. Let's vote for change so Construction never happens again."
The sheer volume of these performative "look at me with someone I disagree with" posts is wild. Your picture is with a guy who wants there be less poor people. Nenshi's was with a guy reping a Gov slaughtering poor people by the hundreds of thousands. But do go on....
This photo is a few years old.
No apology.
I believe in talking to people I disagree with.
If we’ve reached the point where a photograph requires an apology, we’ve forgotten how democracy works.
@andmax78@gavenomix Andrew, all is well. Gav has secret information about Chow provided exclusively to him by his anonymous network. This scandalous information will never see the light of day, but it's bad. Cuz you know, "trust me bro".
I’m supporting my friend @BradMBradford for Mayor of Toronto. I think He’s right for our city. His focus on crime, congestion, and cost of living will make us a competitive city globally. We did this fun video to see how many Torontonians actually know Brad. Do you know Brad?
500 Dawes Update:
Carpets are being replaced and they've reached my floor! 😊✨️
The tradesman installing the carpets is doing an excellent job!
I brought him some water and snacks as a small token of appreciation. Much thanks to @MayorOliviaChow and my friends @TorontoACORN
Are these nothingburger candidates grown in a lab. Between Nadia and Nat Johnson etc...no policy, no ideas for the future, just vibes and "listening". Zzzzzzz
Reconnecting with neighbours I’ve known for years has been one of the best parts of this campaign.
Tonight we talked about our waterfront, traffic on local streets, and pedestrian safety. Listening is where practical solutions begin.

Frances Nunziata registers to run for ninth Toronto city council term. 'I've been waiting four years for this rematch,' opponent says https://t.co/Rl1CpphBEX
@gavenomix Here's the thing: that's a 100% subjective position based on your own values and world view. Which, from what I can see, are incongruent with the majority of Torontonians.
