We are a youth led campaign committed to educating LSU students on their rights to bodily autonomy & abortion access with a goal of defeating amendment 1 in LA.
LSU Students who want to learn more about abortion access, reproductive rights, and defeating the upcoming “no right to abortion” amendment (amendment one) in November, you’ve come to the right place!
@itscassidyclark and @keiyadaa were interviewed by @thelilynews for @washingtonpost about what the passing of Amendment 1 means for Louisiana. The fight is far from over👏👏👏 https://t.co/UfYZ34MKtp
Medically, there is NO reason to limit abortion access. But politically, regulating abortion shows how race, class, and politics come together to create unnecessary obstacles for reproductive justice.
AMENDMENT 1 WANTS TO CONTROL YOU AND YOUR BODY❗️VOTE NO‼️
Louisianians know banning abortion does not decrease abortions, just SAFE abortions.
Things that would:
☑️comprehensive sex education
☑️affordable healthcare and contraception options
☑️increase social welfare programs
Things that won’t:
Amendment 1 #voteno1la
