.@votetimscott: Democrat “elites in Washington decided that they cared more about power than they did about ...the people.
We've seen all these Democrat leaders stand up and say we want more Graham Platners in our party. We want more socialists, communists, and alleged rapists."
The Democrat elites in Washington decided they cared more about power than Mainers.
They made excuses for Platner’s despicable actions up until it risked their chance at power.
Platner aide lists terms for dropping out: “If he was to step down it would only be with a guarantee of being replaced by a candidate who he believes is true to the values and vision and policy agenda of the campaign that Maine voted for." @ShaneGoldmacher https://t.co/x2Jyofd0xi
When we put God first, rededicate ourselves to our founding ideals, and stand up for what is right, we can surely experience the blessings of faith, freedom, and opportunity in South Carolina and the whole of the United States today, tomorrow, and for the next 250 years.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court just handed states a major victory in one of the country's most closely watched culture battles: protecting girls' and women's sports.
In a 6-3 ruling along ideological lines, the court upheld laws in Idaho and West Virginia banning transgender students from competing in women's and girls' school sports.
Justice Brett Kavanaugh writing in his opinion, "The term 'sex' in Title IX... cannot plausibly be interpreted to refer to anything other than biological sex... The Court concludes that separate sports teams for biological males and biological females are reasonable given the inherent physical differences between the sexes."
This is a decisive First Amendment victory and a major win for the integrity of our political system.
We are ready to fully support our candidates and put them in the strongest possible position to win in 2026 and beyond.
Today’s SCOTUS decision in NRSC v. FEC is a tremendous victory for the NRSC and entire Senate campaign ecosystem, enabling campaigns and national party committees to scale faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver maximum lead-on-target.
Congratulations, Julia Letlow! I’m looking forward to keeping Louisiana red, and welcoming a new conservative ally to our Republican Majority in the U.S. Senate.
Congratulations to my good friend and South Carolina’s next Governor, @AGAlanWilson!
He put in the work to win today, he’ll work hard for victory in November, and he will fight for our South Carolina values as our next Governor.
Because of Republican leadership, we have come together, listened to the American people, and remained focused on housing affordability and access.
2026 is the year of affordability, and Republicans are delivering.
I have always believed that faith in God, faith in one another, and faith in America’s promise can overcome any challenge.
Alan Wilson shares that belief.
He is a man of deep faith, strong character, and unwavering conviction who has dedicated his life to serving South Carolina.
I’m proud to endorse Alan for Governor because he will lead with humility, courage, and an optimistic vision for our state.
On June 19, 1865, the word of freedom finally arrived to the last slaves in America.
On this Juneteenth, may the painful lessons of the past encourage all of us to persevere in pursuit of a more perfect union.
Thirty-six hours after losing your father, your brother, your mother, these families spoke passionately - Matthew 5:44.
They operated in the truth of that Scripture that says to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. Some of the family members said that while they couldn't understand the atrocity or the mindset behind it, even that killer's life could be better if he gave his life to Jesus.
That strengthened my belief that all things are possible - number one. Number two, I believe it prevented a race riot, or worse, in the South and in South Carolina. Nine precious souls lost because a racist walked into Mother Emanuel Church and murdered nine beautiful people.
But when nine African American family members came forward and said, "Not only do we forgive you, but your life can be better," it prevented what we'd seen all across the country - in places like Missouri and Florida - where racial conflict ensued after a devastating, race-based event. Not in Charleston. Not in South Carolina.
What did we see? We saw more than 20,000 people show up on the Ravenel Bridge - White and Black, Asian and Hispanic, Native American, men and women, rich and poor - all coming together, joining hands, and celebrating that diversity. That is the strength of our country and of our state.
And remember why that murderer chose Charleston: he chose it because it was the birthplace of the Civil War, and he wanted to create a race riot in the place where he thought it was most likely. But praise the Lord - nine family members decided that the way you deal with misery and pain is to believe in the promises of faith.
What it did for my faith: it made me take a deeper dive into how to deal with misery, loss, and conflict. It gave me a better example of conflict resolution, and frankly, it made me a better legislator, a better person, and a better Christian - because it requires me to remember, every single time things get hard, every single time I think someone on the other side is doing something I just can't deal with, I think about Mother Emanuel. I think about the nine family members who kept our state and our country together.
These nine folks changed everything. It had a major impact on my life and on my faith. And frankly, I now have more confidence in who we are as South Carolinians, and why the greatest place of racial change and transformation in the last 50 years might just be South Carolina.
Jon Ossoff's political ambitions will come to a screeching halt this November.
Georgians are done with his agenda of open borders, higher taxes, and left-wing partisanship.
Georgia is now uniting behind Mike Collins, because he fights for the future of the Peach State.
