Votus is a communication platform that helps organizations build community by talking and listening to their supporters across multiple online platforms.
Votus is excited to announce we will be participating in Higher Ground Labs’ latest cohort! HGL shares Votus’s philosophy of creating avenues for open political dialogue and engagement for everyone.
Votus is releasing a groundbreaking new feature; for the first time, organizations can identify and engage in authentic conversations with voters on social media, at scale, using the Identification Bot.
Votus is now offering our clients the ability to host their own white-tabled closed social networks. Organizations can invite their targeted audiences to join a white-labeled closed social network that will enable their community to grow, engage, and foster new ideas.
(4/4) So the question for us is how do we challenge that cultural power? Right now a select few has disproportionate influence in our politics. It's important to build tools that can create the kind of community needed to support real change and policies that benefit the majority
(1/4) I was reminded recently of interview @davidshor did with @intelligencer last year. The question he answered that stuck with me was "Why do so many moderate Democrats vote for center-right policies that don't even poll well?" https://t.co/XQPvkbHNFV
(3/4) His answer was while the median voter doesn’t want to deregulate banks, that voter doesn’t want a Sen. who is bad for business in ND. So, if the ND business community signals that it doesn’t like Sen. Heitkamp it's bad for her, because business has a lot of cultural power.
Well, you'll still need those 1:1 interactions to build impactful communities and coalitions in the metaverse too. Safe to say Votus is coming to a metaverse near you soon. In the meantime, a big thanks to Digital Trends for the explanation.

True community is built through real conversations with real people. Technology is going to play a big role helping organizations identify and engage with their audiences across different social networks at scale.

As expected, 2022 will be well funded. It's important for progressive orgs to spend on things that will pay better dividends than in the past. Ad spending is important but we need to build sustainable coalitions to win elections. Investing in 1:1 engagement is going to be crucial
