🇺🇸 More than 100 oil tankers are currently on their way to the US. But what does this reveal?

Since the US began its blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, high numbers of empty oil tankers have began moving towards the US for oil supplies.

This likely reveals what the Trump administration's intention was behind the blockade, to bolster US oil exports. But there are wider ramifications to this.

Some Economists have said this may be an attempt by Washington to protect the Petro-Dollar as countries begin moving away from using the USD the main currency reserve.

Whilst this may pay off, the strain on US alliances may speed up the Petro-Dollar's demise, meaning the impact may be offset.

I'm sorry but I have had enough of Donald Trump claiming he is a "peacemaker" and that he has stopped wars

These are the wars he has supposedly stopped

> Israel/Iran: He essentially orchestrated a glorified break. He even messed up capitulating to all of Iran's demands

> India/Pakistan: He threatened Tariffs, which have since been struck down by SCOTUS

> Rwanda/DRC: Fighting did not stop

> Thailand/Combodia: The US had essentially no pull in this

> Armenia/Azerbaijan: The conflict has been frozen since 2023

> Egypt/Ethiopia: They were never at war

> Serbia/Kosovo: Nothing to do with the fact that Serbia is surrounded by NATO members is it?

I'm sorry but this notion that he is some peacemaker and master "deal-maker" has so many holes in it that you have to be deluded to believe it this year
