@fairycolortail Maybe Mashima could reveal that everyone’s perception of him is wrong and show that he’s overprotective of Wendy simply because of the guilt he feels but until then Mest will be the one thing I truly hate about FT.

TLDR: I wanted to like Mest but Mashima make that impossible

@fairycolortail This especially pissed me off during the Alvarez arc when defending Mest was just impossible with both his questionable actions. I hate Mest for the sole reason he could’ve been so much better had Mashima not leaned into the bit that everyone thinks he’s a diddler.

@CubaLera41236 My problems with season 1 had nothing to do with its differences from the games, just that it was genuinely just mid even in a vacuum, season 2 wasn’t that, it was good. Even the worst part of both seasons, being Lady, was a big improvement from season 1

@CubaLera41236 As a dmc fan I don’t like that Vergil is acts different than in the games, but as someone who has basic literary analysis skills and is open minded enough to get that, even if I don’t like Adi and his changes season 2 was just genuinely a good season of tv, I completely agree
