@FOXFOOTY It’s simple. AFL is protecting Crisp’s consecutive games record. Ban Frampton and Curtis to make it look like they’re treating concussion seriously, but pick and choose when they enforce the rules. Should rebrand as Australian Football Entertainment - less credibility than WWE.

@FootyonNine What’s the confusion? AFL don’t want to end Crisp’s consecutive games run, like they don’t want to suspend a Brownlow contender, or a player before finals, or “good-guy” Pendles. They do what they want & get away with it because everyone has FOMO and will turn up again next week

@Muneeb_08 Three mid-tier host nations were treated like seeds for grouping. They stacked one side of the group stage (Group A, B & D). Now that has fed into the knockout stage.

@TheHateCentral Because during grouping, Canada the host was treated as a top seed, and Morocco, a top seed was put in the same group as Brazil.

@TouchlineX The draw becomes uneven because mid-tier hosts, USA & Canada are treated as top seeds. Groups B & D were soft, and that now feeds into the knockout stage.
