Someone tried to abuse my system yesterday 🚨

Woke up to 70,000+ error logs 😅

I had the security already, so nothing is affected.

Lessons learned 👇

- Set "rate limits" to your endpoints
- Security + authorization headers is a MUST
- For public API endpoints, have an "IP block list" to prevent abuse
- Set CORS
- Use a security middleware ("helmet" for NodeJS)
- Input validation both on frontend + backend
- Set file upload limits
- Use ORM for DB (to prevent SQL injection)
- Password hashing

This is important especially for all the vibe coders.

I know, it's boring.

But don't skip these, and you'll thank me later :)
