Here is a table from @environmentza showing the increasing numbers of mining applications for mining inside ecologically sensitive areas, protected areas and watersheds since 2015.
@JohanLorenzen@environmentza No 😒. Also no questions from the MPs such as "why are there mining applications for within protected/sensitive/watershed areas - does this not make a mockery of the aims of protected areas legislation?" Also, one can't tell from the table who is appealing - mine or objector.
