To add: If you can not open the console with ctrl+shift+i because you are using the plain discord where this has been patched out 2 years ago, open your file explorer (Win+E) and enter "%appdata%" (witout quotation marks) and hit enter. You land your appdata/roaming folder.
Here you go into the discord folder and open the "settings.json" with a text editor of your choice. Here you need to add text with caution as the json file has a fixed structure.
Look for the two lines that look like this:

"MIN_WIDTH": 940,
"MIN_HEIGHT": 500,

The numbers might be different for you, ignore that if it happens.
Now before these two you add a new line that it looks like this:

"DANGEROUS_ENABLE_DEVTOOLS_ONLY_ENABLE_IF_YOU_KNOW_WHAT_YOURE_DOING": true,
"MIN_WIDTH": 940,
"MIN_HEIGHT": 500,

It is utterly important, that you copy this new line perfectly including the comma at the end.

Now save this file and restart your discord and you will be able to open the console.
The first time you paste the code in, you will see yellow stuff telling you not to paste in things. Write "allow pasting" and hit enter, now the text will be able to be pasted in.

Bewarned though: while this code from Amia is safe and you can absolutely use it (which is why I explain for those who can't open the console, how it works), be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS with stuff you put in there. You can easily steal auth tokens with the console and others can easily take over your account if you enter any random code to do things. Always think at least twice about why you enter code into the console.
