Vermont has the 3rd highest Per Capita Tax in the country
Our government is more expensive - per person - than California, Massachusetts or New York.
But we are missing the higher paying salaries that accompany those states.
We also pay 60% more than the national average

We need to either cut spending to what is affordable, or allow our economy to grow to catch up - or a combination of both.
