@pearlosnhlpow@volks44@LarsThorsell PR nightmare to not let him go for a bad offer? I think you have it backward. If SY doesn't get back at least an even swap, they'll hang him. DL can request a trade all he wants. If he's unwilling to wave to the best offer, that's on him, not SY.
@JeffVeillette It's almost like a +1M fanbase has more than one opinion and those varying opinions are voiced individually at different times and with different frequency based on context.
@dfinn4@_jewishkanye_@WindRiv26461749@NUCLRGOLF I love that you're pretending that moving out of a divot from 180yd out is the same as being given an eagle because you're terrified of making a 12" putt. Brilliant stuff.
@dfinn4@WindRiv26461749@NUCLRGOLF If he doesn't care about it either, why not just pick it up? Why ask permission? Anything below par is never a gimmie. Putt it.
@DagarothB@SlimHoneycutt@Houseofyogi If that were true, then they fail. So be it. No government intervention needed. Isn't that your exact point against a bailout? So, the government also shouldn't have gotten involved in the sale to "save" them.
@whopper014@ESPNRefNHL@denigreur@bmet7@Zeb_Habs Sure. The point is, the HS here isn't called because it was caused by an infraction. Yet, in this same series, one was called because "you must be in control of your stick, regardless." This creates a perfectly valid complaint of inconsistent officiating.
@ESPNRefNHL@denigreur@bmet7@Zeb_Habs They're identical situations. Neither player was going to commit a HS until they were interfered with by an opponent. One got called (you must be responsible for your stick no matter what), one didn't (it's not a penalty of someone causes you to commit it). It can't be both.
@ESPNRefNHL@denigreur@bmet7@Zeb_Habs TBLs stick is already at head level at the time of the elbow in this clip. Respectfully, this is exactly what people complain about in regards to consistent officiating. You specifically told us all days ago that "a player is always responsible for his stick." Which is it?
@ESPNRefNHL But, carelessness isn't a penalty. It only becomes one once contact is made, and contact is only made because of the actions of TBL. I was positive it was getting overturned after review since it's clearly caused by TBL.
