Without a doubt, some of the biggest "Welfare Queens" in the entire American West are public lands ranchers who get to graze their cows and sheep on America's #publiclands and within #Wilderness areas for a few pennies a day.

HE’S NOT BEING SEEN - Social, friendly and affectionate, 1yo puppy Junior #157779 was surrendered for resource guarding. An issue fixable with training, instead NYCACC kills him Tuesday. Arriving NOV 5 and been locked away for 23hrs a day for months, he’s now stressed and depressed. Affectionate, great with children and dogs, he’s a puppy worth saving. Please pledge RT Junior!

Egg-laying hens are suffering in cruel cages. It’s time to hold corporations accountable for this abuse!

💔 On Thurs 3-23 our fabulous volunteer transporter Tiffany was picking up Jessie from Downey CA, when a family wanted to surrender their 15 yo Little 😡 Because they got a puppy😡😡 Fortunately this senior is now with our Team and we have lots of adoption/foster interest ☺
Checking in with Pixel.
Pixel was found abandoned in a park and brought to the Brooklyn ACC by park rangers.
He was a very docile and gentle guy. He was a senior dog who was dumped like trash.
Although he was rated a level one, he needed immediate placement due to a severe case of CIRDC that has led to a feeding tube being placed in his esophagus. He needed supportive care outside of the shelter.
With the help of a very kind, dedicated foster, we were able to save his life. He went straight away to Blue Pearl Veterinary Clinic due to the complications of CIRDC which led to full blown pneumonia. There he stayed several days which was touch and go. For the past month and half, he has been on the road to recovery.
This amazing foster has been crucial to his new life and overcoming this health crisis. She brought him back and forth to vet appointments, made sure he was getting his steamy bathroom sessions and made sure he was eating when he refused to eat.
Pixel is such a gem. We are so happy we were able to save him.
