The vote buying in Skid Row isn't the only place that is known to buy votes. In Eastern Kentucky, vote buying is like second nature, mostly in local races. Even though I no longer live there, I remember vividly the offers of pint whiskey, driveway gravel or a $50 bill come to our front door often. It still happens. Except now the offer of a pill, alcohol or something of that nature is offered. The driveway gravel is still a popular choice for magistrate candidates. But I can honestly say, not once has a federal race candidate offered to buy my vote when I did live there. I'm sure this happens nationwide.

@libsoftiktok Whitesburg is in Letcher County. The same Letcher County were Sheriff Mickey Stines allegedly shot and killed Judge Mullins in his office. Then we found out the jail was allegedly running a brothel with the female inmates. Not the brightest bunch. Heavy Democrat area there.

The Indiana Secretary of State general election officially has a 4 way split. Republican, Democrat, Libertarian and now Lincoln since Greg Ballard qualified. Ballard is the worse candidate on the ticket.
