@sandiecane_ No, there's no way I'm ever going to deiron after maxing and getting GM, plus all the shit I grinded for. Creating a normie is insanely fast nowadays if I ever feel the urge to play non iron.
@t2neZu @Abohmod4456 The super poly list or the regular one? I've been running the super poly one and it does feel a bit inconsistent, albeit really good when going second.
@jen_tcg I’ve been rocking sky striker for link. Heard RT is playable if you’re already used to that, since it doesn’t use too much from the extra deck.
@FatesHyperSpace I feel like the issue is there aren't many new players in MD. So what you're left with is either the bots, smurfs or people that deranked but know how to play. If there are no other new players, who else is the game supposed to match the new players with?
@ForTheWinTCG Hey bud, although I knew the yugioh rules from back in the day, I only rejoined yugioh last December. Since then, I've consumed a bunch of content to learn the game and played a bunch. I just got the dc cup 2nd stage invite and have beat master 1s. Keep at it, it'll click soon :)
@TrevorAllenMD I've been learning vsk9 and it's actually so great having actual back and forth games. So many games where I have to break a board, the opponent rebuilds, breaks my board, I rebuild, etc. I don't get people that want to brain off full combo into an impossible board.
@Cimoooooooo I came back from 2008 or so yugioh recently and my first deck was pure dracotail. It's pretty straightforward, and it has the basic things you'd want to begin with. A backrow pop, a monster pop, generic pop, effect disable, simple concepts. Plus you still learn turn 0 plays.
