Big fan of the recent strategy at RB Leipzig of bringing in French 🇫🇷 players from amateur clubs to continue their development at the academy.

A low-risk/high-reward pipeline, as the players are contractless, meaning that there are of course no transfer fees for their signature. Though they are raw, they still remain high-potential players, as we saw with Samba Konaté (2009) making his Bundesliga debut this season after only having joined last summer, already valued at €1M on Transfermarkt.

Him and Prosper Kingue (2010) are the first two examples, but I'm sure there are plenty more to come in the near future.

Seeing reports that Bayern München are only prioritising 'super elite' players in the transfer market and will fill the rest of their squad with home-grown academy graduates. That should be the squad-building blueprint for every elite club with high-performing academies.

@BadcnFaces @Arsenal @EASPORTSFIFA @FIFER_Mods When i change the ID on a player it always shows the wrong face. Does somebody have an idea why this keeps happening.
