Geographic size doesn't matter at all when public official leaders are so corrupt they can't even give people a decent life here. The Philippine government basically exports its own citizens to work abroad. PH economy 'strives' mainly because of the blood, sweat, and remittances from Filipinos overseas. At the same time, elected officials continue stealing taxes and refuse to fix anything. PH are a rich country — but the corruption from top to bottom is killing the potential.

The actions of Senator Ralph Recto and his cohorts are not mere lapses in judgment—they are deliberate betrayals of the public trust. His record is marked by grave abuse of discretion, technical malversation, and violations of the Sin Tax and Universal Health Care laws. These are not abstract charges; they are concrete acts that have robbed the nation of resources meant to save lives and uplift the poor.

The unconstitutional transfer of ₱60 billion from PhilHealth to the national treasury, as ruled by the Supreme Court on December 5, stands as one of the most glaring abuses of power in recent memory.

Compounding this, Recto presided over a **zero subsidy for PhilHealth this year—the worst budget in history—**leaving millions of Filipinos vulnerable and unprotected. While other cabinet members such as Sec. Bersamin, Sec. Amenah, and Sec. Bonoan have resigned or fled in the face of failure, Recto remains unmoved, clinging to privilege while the health system collapses.

His personal choices further expose his hypocrisy. He smokes. He vapes. He embodies the very habits that government campaigns are meant to fight. For a leader entrusted with safeguarding public health, this is not a private matter—it is a public contradiction, a mockery of the nation’s fight against addiction and disease. Worse, his stance has consistently undermined Sin Tax funds, weakening the financial backbone of programs designed to reduce inequality and save lives.

Recto has proven himself one of the worst elected and appointed leaders of our generation. His record is a disgrace to the country, a stain on the institutions he swore to uphold, and a clear example of how privilege can be weaponized against the people. To allow him and his cohorts to escape accountability would be to condone impunity and perpetuate the cycle of corruption that has long plagued our democracy.

The call is clear and urgent: Recto must be charged, tried, and, if found guilty, jailed. Only then can we begin to restore faith in our institutions and prove that no one—no matter how powerful—is above the law.

Justice demands it, and the nation deserves nothing less.

Also, I just wanted to say, @mustafasuleyman ... It's arrogance like this that we've come to expect from Microsoft, disrespecting users' choice and forcing features on them.

To blame them for being frustrated is just next level.

Good grief, man. Read the room.

Microsoft has an opportunity to turn the reputation of Windows around here. But this is not the way.

If you truly want to make Windows great again, stop forcing AI into every crack and corner of it. We don't want it. Make the AI tools optional and not enabled by default and plastered everywhere, and then make them so good that users will actually want to use them.

Focus on making Windows stable and secure. Respect the rights and choices of those users who don't want Copilot (et al) for a variety of reasons, and stick to developing tools that actually improve workflows.

That's how Microsoft can turn this ship around.

But this? Blaming users? Calling them "cynics"? No. That's not a good look at all.

Right now, Ubuntu is looking great for my needs. It's fast, stable, runs all my software, and doesn't try to shove AI tools in every corner.

I say this as someone who has used Windows for over 30 years and supported Microsoft-heavy networks and environments for ~12 years. And I say this with all due respect. This kind of arrogance, intended or not, is ruining the Windows brand. Not just among the vocal crowd, but at the ground level. It's frustrating people and pushing them to other solutions.

Please listen to them instead of brushing them off.

Understand that even a good product that's forced on people very quickly becomes a bad product in practice. Even if Copilot were the best thing since sliced bread, people would still hate it because of the heavy handedness with which it's being pushed on them.

I understand that you're proud of the work your team has done and is doing. That's great. But please take the next step and understand the perspective of those of us who don't want these features forced in our faces. Available to those who want them? Sure. On by default? Absolutely not.

Anything less simply alienates @Windows users and makes macOS and Linux look better and better every day.
