Inflation is “only” 2.6%

• Conveniently cherry-picking year-over-year numbers doesn’t erase the fact that prices skyrocketed under Biden and remain historically high.
• Even at 2.6%, inflation compounds. Wages haven’t kept up with the cumulative price increases, leaving Americans struggling to afford basic necessities. Groceries, gas, and housing costs remain far above pre-Biden levels.

Crime is falling

• Falling from what? Violent crime saw massive spikes in 2020-2021. Even a slight decline now doesn’t erase the fact that many cities remain far more dangerous than they were pre-pandemic.
• Major urban centers mostly run by Democrats continue to struggle with rising homicides, carjackings, and retail theft. Ask small business owners or families in these cities if they feel safer. Spoiler: They don’t.

Border crossings are the lowest in over 4 years

• This is laughable. Border crossings hit record highs under Biden’s policies, and even a slight decrease from catastrophic levels doesn’t mean the problem is solved.
• The reality: Over 2.3 million illegal crossings occurred in FY 2023. A single month of improvement doesn’t erase years of failure. Biden’s open-border policies have overwhelmed border towns and strained resources across the country. Yale university did a study showing an estimate closer to 22 million illegals reside in the US.

Fentanyl overdoses are dropping

• This claim is wildly misleading. Overdose deaths have surged in recent years due to fentanyl flooding across the border. Even if there’s a slight decline, we’re still at crisis levels.
• In 2022 alone, over 70,000 Americans died from synthetic opioids, primarily fentanyl. Where’s the accountability for the porous border that allows this deadly drug to enter the U.S.?

America has the best economy in the world

• The economy might look fine on paper if you’re Wall Street or a tech billionaire, but for everyday Americans, the story is different.
• Rising debt, stagnant wages, and affordability crises in housing and healthcare are crushing the middle class. Bidenomics might be great for the elites, but Main Street isn’t feeling it.

Be Angry at the Lies?

Sure, but let’s aim that anger in the right direction:
• Be angry at an administration that downplays your struggles while celebrating inflated “successes”.
• Be angry at politicians who let the border crisis spiral out of control, leaving communities to bear the brunt.
• Be angry at leaders who pretend crime is falling while ignoring the victims in their own cities.

Your post is right about one thing: people are being lied to. But the lies aren’t coming from those highlighting these crises… they’re coming from those trying to cover them up.
