Next week we will investigate more about the creation of the Himalayas π #geographyteacher
Today our year 10βs learnt all about global atmospheric circulation βοΈ π§ We explained the location of our rainforests & hot deserts.
Then we used look, cover, draw and check to practice this model again & again. Look at the progress they made each time! #geographyteacher
Here are our year 7, 8 and 9 autumn key geography words for all students π
We want students to practice spelling, pronunciation and confidently using these words accurately in their verbal and written work ππ #beanexcellentgeographer#geographyteacher
Our year 10 geographers have made a great start to the year investigating some of the worlds recent natural hazards.
We then considered whether or not we believe any of these hazards could have been avoided. Some super geographical thinking taking place ππ #geographyteacher
Year 10βs concluded the year constructing EQ proof buildings which we tested on our EQ shaker!! We assessed height, attractiveness and ability to withstand a 10 second EQ.
Weβre really proud of the hard work and progress these students have made this year π«
