25 lakh units a day through automated ops is what the future looks like.
Vyom IQ is our bet on that future: a cloud brain that lets robotics and drone teams plug in, automate workflows end-to-end, and scale from one pilot to hundreds of sites without rewriting their stack.

Over the past 12 months, our Operations and Tech teams have meticulously implemented automation across our backend supply chain. Today, I am excited to announce that we have scaled automation operations pan-India - as we speak, 25 Lakh FMCG units get processed through automated assets across Zepto's supply chain every day!

This has translated into a 45%+ improvement in manpower productivity (outbound), when compared to manual operations, resulting in hundreds of crores of annual operating cost savings for our business.

More importantly, our engineering teams have been able to build in-house software to guide these automated assets and integrate them with our core logistics systems. That capability serves as the backbone to keep scaling more advanced automation stacks and unlocking further cost leverage down the road.

On Aug 28, 2025, we had the privilege of hosting a Japanese delegation led by NextBharat Ventures. The cohort, comprising 20 senior Japanese professionals and students, included representatives from leading corporations such as Toyota, MUFG Bank, Mitsui, and SoftBank, alongside top university talent from The University of Tokyo and Nagoya University. They joined us on a curated journey to explore India’s vibrant innovation and startup landscape.

This program is designed to foster cross-border collaboration, technological exchange, and market access opportunities between India and Japan. For Indian startups, such initiatives open pathways to global partnerships, technology transfer, and entry into new international markets.

During this visit, the delegates had the opportunity to interact closely with some of our promising startups, including:

Continuing this mission, we are excited to soon take a cohort of Indian DeepTech startups to the USA through our InnoTrek program (8–19 September 2025) – a flagship initiative that connects India’s brightest founders with Silicon Valley leaders, investors, and ecosystem enablers. With every such exchange, we move one step closer to building globally competitive DeepTech startups from India, while creating bridges for innovation-led growth across borders.
