"I don't care much for Mandalorian's fall before me. Just you."
She looked so pretty like this. Defeated.
"Why did you ask? Do you wish to have it taken from you?"
"And you said it wouldn't be easy..it hasn't even been five minutes and yet.."
She took her chin in her hand to make her look at her.
"You're lucky I'm letting you keep that armor."
Once she's close, Shin clips the lease onto her and tugs it upwards. Making Sabine look up at her.
A smug look written subtly on her face.
"That wasn't so hard."
Clad in her armor still, minus the helmet, Sabine puts the collar around her neck.
Almost like a humiliating joke, collar and armor.
Then she crawls to where Shin waits.
โด being on the verge of sleep, her heartbeat sped up. No one had ever bothered to promise to stay. Maybe just maybe...this time she wouldn't wake up alone.
Crawling up to rest her head on Sabine's shoulder. Seeking as much of her comfort as she could.
"Thank you.."
A bright smile remains on her as she bent down to kiss her forehead. She knew her thought process with that hug. The feeling was mutual. Losing someone else she deeply cared about. . . She couldn't imagine what she'd do.
"I'll be here when you wake up. I promise."
Sabine moves her hands in between her hair. Holding her close and staring at her. Remembering her face. Studying her as she wanted to dream about her when she fell asleep.
"Goodnight, Shin. See you in my dreams."
