@luvicalz Diet Coke. Or anything with artificial sweetener that’s also carbonated. The bubbles fill me up and fake sweetener makes me mildly nauseous lol.
@zombheediets I can’t stand the ppl with restriction disorders doging on ppl with bed or the like that are 200lb+ you can empathize with ppl that starve to 💀 but not ppl that overeat?? The big dif is you can only lose so much but you can gain A LOT and still live.
@kymonsfw I was stuck in a this cycle too. Eventually I got to my breaking point and just started going as long as I can w/out eating. Instead of thinking about food all I can think about is working out, how I’ll get all my steps in etc. if I eat it’s like meat and vegetables.
@vintage_lw To put it into perspective non-disordered ppl usually eat like 1,700 to 1,200 at least to lose weight. The only issue you might run into is potential muscle loss but that’s if you care. Otherwise just try to take care of yourself best you can 💕
@vaulorya They think about it like it’s a cool little club and not a serious mental illness. From a clinical standpoint even if you aren’t underweight or eating very little being able to recognize those unhealthy thoughts and label it can keep people from getting sicker.
@cinnamoooontea I gained so much weight after basically dissociating for 3 years. I just ate and ate because it was comforting. I couldn’t take it anymore I just want to be in control again.
@ednosaira Binges aren’t defined by the number of cal eaten but the physiological patterns. It’s anytime a person feels they eat excessively with no ability to stop. Can’t remember the source but a quick google search would confirm I’m sure.
@Vals_ded Something to note is attractiveness especially to young guys/men in general is it’s preformative. It’s part effort part good health and a good bit preforming what they’re attracted to (feminine conformity). It doesn’t correlate to how much you’ll be loved.
@ri_wonderlust I have a kinda “realspo” I’m my head. It’s that perfect body I dream of but pictured in ways that are so everyday it’s like I could really live the dream. That’s this to me. Is there a category for that? Idk lol
@kiricakes I was a thin and kinda sickly kid but when I got a little older (and healthier) I wasn’t the “skinny girl” anymore and it crept up on me. Around like 14-15. Tumblr didn’t help.
@starrythiins There’s science behind this. Eating a little every day tells ur body there is some food but not enough so u obsess over it. Once ur in “fast mode” after like 16 hr ur body gets the memo there is no food and lets you focus on other stuff while tapping into fat stores.
@snowyycals Knew gym bros were disordered since I was a kid n my cus became one. Dude was scared of butter. “You really eat that?” “Do you know how bad that is for you?” “Do you know how much cal/fat/blahblah”. Thanks for the meanspo???
