@RunningAlong33 @UKRunChat Maybe you need a break from running to recharge your mental batteries and realise that you do love it. That you’re asking this question probably means you’re not that far away from being back as you’d want
@beckytLCFC So many of our interactions are ritualistic
“How are you?”
“I’m good how are you?”
It’s never
“Pull up a chair. I’m skint, the dogs dieing, my kids hate me, I’m going to lose my job etc etc”
I guess we all need to listen more and be honest.
Very clearly people from two households sharing a breakfast at @BTPcafes in Tier 2. I think one of them is a copper too? If we go to tier 3 as rumoured it’s this behaviour that’s driving it.
@bluejohn68 @SimonBruni What I’m saying is that your assertion she’s nasty is an emotional response based on how you think and feel nothing more . I think this is one of those agree to disagree moments :)
@bluejohn68 @SimonBruni Totally disagree - it’s a tough job needing mettle like most of us cannot imagine. I doubt personal motivation in anything which use of nasty implies. She did what she did like all leaders do.. it’s an impossible job that everyone thinks they can do better
@bluejohn68 @SimonBruni Nasty is an emotional response to someone making tough decisions every day with the information to hand. Everyone not doing that job right now thinks they can do better. Was thatcher tough, you bet she was but nasty? Nah. Don’t confuse the two
