American media has hit rock bottom in public trust, falling below Congress in latest Gallup poll.

Bezos:

"Most people believe the media is biased.

Anyone who doesn't see this is paying scant attention to reality, and those who fight reality lose."

He warns established media risks becoming irrelevant as audiences turn to "off-the-cuff podcasts" and social media, while newspapers increasingly "talk only to a certain elite."
