We need to understand that we are no longer welcome in many countries. For the sake of our self-respect, we should actually become ‘Atmanirbhar’ not just on paper, but in reality.
Manufacture things here instead of importing them just because they are cheaper. Let prices rise. Let demand fall initially. People should and will adjust.
Turn our population into our strength, like China did.
Be it furniture, hardware, sanitaryware, polyester, clothes or anything else buy Indian-made products. Don’t let the same 3–4 big players control everything. Give smaller manufacturers a chance.
Freebies should stop. No income tax up to ₹50 lakh. GST should not exceed 18%.
If we don’t take manufacturing seriously today and keep encouraging “import, stamp and sell”, the worst is yet to come.

82% of what you pay for #Amul milk, reaches the primary stakeholder, the farmer; this model is the need of the hour; for vegetable farmers, for fruit farmers, for every dairy farmer, for pulses farmers, for oilseed farmers, for cereal farmers. This is the way ahead, the only way.

307 kg single shipment of high-value leather goods, manufactured by us for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, was held at Kolkata customs for physical inspection.
They physically opened 5 of the 17 cartons to "inspect".
And this is not a one-time instance. I am certain this continues to happen with many exporters. Chemicals, pharma, textiles, etc. Please, please comment if you've been/going through this tunnel as well.
Ours, after all, are simple leather goods. Can Indian customs assure that none of these goods was retained during this "inspection"?
I bring USD to India. Through back-to-back e-commerce orders and customised high-value shipments. We aspire to compete with Montblanc and Cartier. How do we do that when our consignments are held up for days at Indian customs during exports (even barring this particular 307 kg shipment)?
I am happy to share the SB no. with the relevant authorities.
Saurabh Pandit, Daksh Chaudhary, Akku Pandit and Amit Pehalwan extort ₹50,000 per month from a woman restaurant owner in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, in the name of “hafta.”
The woman released a video stating that they eat for free, and when she refuses to pay the “hafta,” they vandalize the restaurant, abuse her and engage in physical violence.
If the @Uppolice have any shame left, they should immediately arrest these people and put them behind bars.
These people are extremists who claim to be “Hindu protectors.”
Corruption is not an issue anymore because everyone understands (and even respects) this basic human urge to hoard, to make more money. We even celebrate the top 15-20 billionaires of the nation as some sort of beacons of our culture and pride.
But what gets missed in this razzle-dazzle is that corruption is not just someone making extra money by bending rules - it also means those bent rules KILL people. In building fires, collapses, fake cancer medicines, adulterated foods, drunk driving, and a hundred other ways.
Corruption actually means someone making money by murdering people, murdering us.

Unless the governments have fear of getting voted out, this is not going to be fixed.
As a voter who is more focused on religion and fake nationalism, this is what you will get and deserve.
A quick self-IQ check.
If someone posts a video of a badly run government school and your first thought is, "Who funded this guy?" Why is she inspecting schools? Who allowed him? Which party do they belong to? - you failed the test.
If your first thought is - fuck what the fuck is happening in our country how are we going to compete with China?
You passed the test.

@tehseenp This further proves that no tests were done on Indian vehicles and they didn't bother to upgrade infrastructure to make it ethanol compatible.

Spending money on e20 campaigns now is an utter waste of money. An average customer and citizen is aware that non-compliant fuel is going inside his old car.
Farmers and Import Bill lollipop and narrative wouldn't work.
Just provide e10 along with e20, Have 5% GST on flex fuel cars, tell us your blending plans till 2040 and move on.
