8 years ago today, the following six players made their final appearance for Wrexham in the 0-0 home draw to AFC Fylde.
Boden, Dunn, Kelly and Mackreth were all released by new manager Sam Ricketts.
Quigley returned to Blackpool and Wedgbury signed for Chesterfield.

42 years ago today saw our first visit to the County Ground since 1976.
After going three goals down to The Cobblers, Wrexham managed to fight back for a much needed point in their battle against re-election.

A very Happy 67th Birthday to the great Mel Pejic 🎂🎉
Joining the club the week after we beat Arsenal, Mel played well over 100 league games for Wrexham. He then went on to be Head Physio at the club for 14 years, whilst also working with the Welsh squad.

35 years ago today, we played the second leg at Edgar Street after a 1-1 draw at home.
Andy Preece and a first cup goal for 17yo Lee Jones took us through to the final.
