We celebrate the service, commitment, and retirement of Sheriff Station Clerk Maral Jierian. She has served our department loyally for 20 years. We wish you nothing but the best! #lasd#walnut
Yesterday, Walnut Station Deputies and even one of our Community Service Assistants participated in Read Across America at Vejar Elementary in the City of Walnut.
Today, Walnut - Diamond Bar Station deputies received a call for service involving a stray tortoise in the @CityofWalnut .
If you are missing your tortoise, Michelangelo is currently with Baldwin Park Animal Control.
Last week, the Walnut Deputies and Volunteers on Patrol, visited the Walnut United Methodist Preschool. They talked to students about car seat safety, strangers and showed the kids their patrol cars and gear.
Walnut personnel have been working around the clock responding to the areas of the County that are affected by the fires. These long hours help us safeguard not only the communities we serve, but provide additional personnel to assist the communities affected by the recent fires.

On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we would like to thank all of our law enforcement family members around the country for their continued service and dedication; together we keep our great nation’s communities safe.
Thanks to the generosity of First General Bank of Rowland Heights, 7 families were given an opportunity to shop at Walmart with Deputies and members of the Family Resource Center of the Rowland Unified School District. Thank you, Raising Canes, for also contributing to the event.
