Many remain in captivity for over 33 months, with Russia refusing access to international monitoring missions like the Red Cross. These are blatant violations of the Geneva Conventions and human rights. #StandWithUkraine

184 Ukrainians have died in Russian captivity, including 169 military personnel and 15 civilians. Testimonies from released prisoners reveal horrific conditions: torture, starvation, denial of medical care, and total isolation.

We hosted a powerful press conference to announce the launch of the "Art for Freedom: Unseen Civilians" exhibition. This event brought together speakers from diverse backgrounds to shed light on the experiences of Ukrainian civilians caught in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

On August 24, 2024, on the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, we pay homage to the centuries-long struggle of our people for freedom and the right to their own state. This struggle is not confined to history books, but is a present reality.

The Russian war in Ukraine has devastated medical personnel, with 784 facilities damaged and 340 medics killed. Colonel Viktor Ivchuk and combat medic Dmytro Selyutin were captured in April 2022. We must raise awareness and advocate for their release. Your voice matters.

Torture must not be inflicted on anyone, anywhere

June 26 is the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. As Russia holds thousands of Ukrainians captive and subjects them to torture, this date serves as a critical reminder to strengthen our unity against such acts

Second, on June 26, 1987, the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment came into effect.

Torture is not a weapon of war but a crime.

Lilia and her whole family were in their house when a Russian missile hit nearby. It was in 2022, when Russians occupied Izium in the Kharkiv region. The house stood relatively unbroken except for shattered windows.
