@WASACRE is holding its second virtual meeting today hosted by Caerphilly SACRE. We will be discussing the journey toward Religion, values and ethics in the Curriculum for Wales (2022), Professional Learning for schools and future qualifications in the @quals_wales consultation.
Religious Education becomes Religion, Values and Ethics as the Curriculum and Assessment (Wales) Bill is passed this evening on the floor of the Senedd. RVE now sits as a mandatory element within the first national Curriculum for Wales. A historic moment.

@WASACRE members were very pleased to welcome @RachelAnnsamue2 into the role of Chair at the AGM today and are pleased the Revd. Canon Edward Evans will continue to serve as an Executive Officer of the Association. Both work tirelessly for RE in Wales.
WASACRE is holding it's very first virtual AGM today. The Chair and Vice Chair are currently welcoming SACRE members from throughout Wales to discuss the changes being made within RE in Wales.
