Mhm. I'm a lousy shot anyway.
( The sweetest, most harmless smile in the world. Leading up to, of course, a dead-on hit to the target. He often wonders why he never played a sport. )
- with so much passion and skill that DaVinci himself would shed a tear."
Despite the line having a certain degree of corniness, Lex does deliver it in a way it doesn't sound inorganic or a poor attempt at a pick up line. Maybe a bit long-winded, nonetheless.
He chuckles as he eases to the ground, making sure to leave a comfortable amount of distance between them. No need to overwhelm.
"Oh, please, no need for flattery. Especially such high praise as to come from you. It's not often I see someone whose artist created them-
โwell, you had me fooled,โ he says with a light, breezy smile.
he gestures to a spot opposite him.
โoh, by all means, join me.โ

( Lex isn't particularly easy to evade in social contexts- though Jaxon wasn't exactly hard to read, either.)
Well, when you aren't trying to f*ck
/someone/ out of your system, come find me.
(He winks as he heads on.)
( There's something about Lex - the way he carries himself, and the way he takes things in stride when it comes to him, that oddly. . . pulls at Jaxon, just for a second.
Eyebrows furrow, mulling over that feeling. The wanting to talk to someone, when his mind feels muddled at -
He watches Atticus curiously, like a cat in a window. For how twisted up inside he'd seen Jaxon get around Atticus...

A soft sigh follows, frustration evident in his moody expression. )
Look. That was shitty of me, my bad.
I just don't feel like talking. At all. I appreciate it, but. . .
( His gaze follows after Atticus and Rowena leaving in -
(For once, Lex does not hide his visible disdain for being spoken to this way. He straightens up, his usual soft expression twisting to a grimace.)
I apologize for checking on you. Next time, I'll take into account that you only speak to people with their mouths full.
