A word of advice to our Muslim influencers and celebrities:
1- Life is short and it is a test as Allah stated in the Quran in many places.
2- Ali may Allah be pleased with him, the cousin of the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and the 4th Caliph said:
And if we were to be set free after we die, then death would be a relief for everyone
The problem is that when we die, we are resurrected, and after that, we are questioned about every thing!
3- Fame is blinding and deafening. It makes
us lose our senses till wrong becomes right and sins become the norm in our lives. This is when we become "comfortably numb"!
4- Gaining likes and more followers is the sole objective in life to most our Muslim celebrities. They don’t care whether this pleases Allah or angers Him! Fame is quick sand that sucks you in with every move you make.
5- People may complement you for your charm, your beautiy or your art and to tell the truth, you might be gifted in all of that. The problem is: would all of that benefit you in your grave and on the day of judgment or would it only further your descent in hell?
5- Look at all the celebrities and influencers 20 or 30 years before you. Where are they now and where is their fame, charm and admirers?
They are all forgotten and only Allah knows what is happening to them in their graves as we speak.
6- It doesn’t matter what people say about you as there will always be people who adore you and people who hate your guts.
What really counts is: What does Allah say about you?
