WASREB participated in the 3-day Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Management Conference, officially opened by Cabinet Secretary Eng. Eric Mugaa, under the theme "Improving NRW Management by Leveraging Technology & Innovations." The forum brought together sector leaders to address rising
NRW, now at 48% according to the WASREB Impact Report 18.
WASREB Director, Licensing, Standards & Advocacy, Eng. James Kigutu, highlighted regulatory interventions to reduce water losses, strengthen utility performance and enhance accountability.
WASREB and Nairobi City Water & Sewerage Co. engaged Mbotela residents on billing, metering, tariffs, disconnections, NRW, and customer service, while encouraging timely bill payment, reporting illegal connections and improved complaint resolution.

The Regulator, with the World Bank, convened the WUCC Cohort 2 Mid-Term Check-In, where 33 WSPs and 19 County Coordinators reviewed governance, financial management and creditworthiness to enhance access to commercial financing and improve water service delivery.
WASREB will be part of the upcoming NRW Management Conference that will address the sector's most pressing challenges on loss of water and contribute to developing actionable solutions that will enhance service delivery
