Are you familiar with Washington’s “Move Over, Slow Down” law? If you’re approaching a stationary emergency vehicle with its lights activated, please remember to move over one lane if it’s safe to do so. If you can’t move over, slow down as you drive through the emergency zone.🚔
Today we remember Trooper Sean O'Connell Jr.
Trooper O'Connell died on May 31, 2013. The Skagit River Bridge had collapsed a week prior, increasing traffic on arterial roads. He was checking the length of a backup on his motorcycle when he was struck and killed by a box truck.
