Be mindful of your self-talk, for the words you repeat within can shape who you become.
Self-talk influences the subconscious mind. Our subconscious does not critically distinguish between what is true or false, positive or negative; it absorbs what we repeatedly feed it through our conscious thoughts.
Therefore, we have the power to nurture our inner world with positivity, hope, and faith; or condition it with doubt, fear, and negativity. The conversations we repeatedly have with ourselves can gradually shape our attitudes, beliefs, and outlook on life.

Recently I left quant to work on AI safety. The Huggingface Incident made me extremely concerned that we are not set up to handle the risks.
I wrote my this post for people in a similar position to me - why you *can* have impact and how to get started - https://t.co/bmmCUk5fkK
@yourauntemma God is non-dual. Bro missed the dismount on that one. Would have been fine if he just started to Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare etc etc ad infinitum.
@goldrush782@porterstansb@matthewschmitz I agree at least in part. Long been of the mind that demographic collapse is just one of many other population-level effects of widespread consumer credit.
Since I first experienced GPT-3, I've operated under the belief that unlike all prior technologies, AI was a deterministic technology that will drive the marginal value of human cognition to some limit near zero. This thing details the nightmare: https://t.co/8WjpyRFuZ2
@INArteCarloDoss He is not a smart person. His wife is rich and her father is very powerful and once upon a time at Stanford he had a very good backhand. He's made good money telling Druck secrets and I think he has finally hit the level where there is no place to hide.
Warsh is dumb guy's idea of smart guy and Henry Poole is arriviste anglophile's idea of good tailor. So at least things continue to make sense on that level. Day homeboy comes out with a soft shoulder we are headed to the moon.
@davidad Infuriating. I have now implemented a skill /fullbozo that reminds Claude Code that basically every single folder has some version of a Claude.md saying STFU
Good morning and happy 4/20. Here’s a grainy, 50 year old, utterly immaculate 11 minute slab of ‘77 Dead to kick off the festivities.🔥

@jam_croissant@nPhoenix10 His FIL was the driver to get GWB to give Warsh a spot as youngest ever (ie grossly under-qualified) of the Fed board of gov's.
