Out last day of the retreat was a real blessing! We started with our Prophetic Art class, where we expressed the heart of God for each Deaf women attending. We are very thankful to be able to have done this retreat for Deaf women. #godisgood#wbglobal#deafretreat 🌸🇲🇽🌻🤟🏽
One of the many struggles the Deaf community in Ensenada have is equal access to the job interview process in their language. We recently provided our interpreting services for these two Deaf individuals hoping to get a stable job with benefits here in the city. 🧏🏼♂️🤟🏽🇲🇽🙏🏼 #deaf
Feeling grateful for all our supporters and givers who made all this possible. This is a breakdown of our finances of what we were able to accomplish last year with your help. We are declaring this year to be a year of growth and partnership! #deafMinistry#wbfglobal 🇲🇽🙌🏽🤟🏽🙏🏼💰
The surgery was a success with no complications at all! Thanks to Dr. Erick Castañeda's amazing medical team, and to all our givers who helped baby Jessica receive the best medical care she deserves. There will be a future surgery to remove the cyst that was causing all of this.
[A MESSAGE FROM ANA LIDIA] Hello Alana, Katie and other church individuals and people that helped me financially with my baby daughter's surgery. It was a lot of money to pay, and I thank and love you all for your help and support. God bless you all! Thank you! #DeafMinistry
We reached our goal! Thank you so much for rallying around Ana Lidia in her time of need. Pray for baby Jessica as she is scheduled for surgery Saturday early morning. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Ana Lidia Update: Her baby was admitted back into the hospital and requieres emergency surgery to relieve a build up of fluid on the brain (Hydrocephalus). The cost for the surgery alone is $1,500. Ana Lidia needs our help! #GoFundMe https://t.co/bD7Rf1UiQ2
UPDATE: we have successfully scheduled a surgery with the neurosurgeon for Saturday at 8AM. Please keep baby Jessica in your prayers for a successful surgery and full recovery. #deafministry#wbflgobal 🤟🏽🙏🏼🇲🇽
Three Deaf men from Casa Josué tested positive for COVID. Thanks to our givers, we were able to quickly get a COVID test, a doctors appointment and all the medication necessary for them to recover. Join us by giving to our ministry as we continue to serve the Deaf in Ensenada.
The first room in Casa Josué is being remodeled! The Deaf men’s ministry home needs a lot of work done, and we are thankful for our supporters who allow us to do this kind of work. If you are interested in helping or donating, check out our link in the bio. #deafministry 🤟🏽🇲🇽🤟🏽
Ana Lidia’s baby is still in the NICU and has been slowly improving. We have been able to continue our support in covering the hospital expenses and medicines needed. Frances has been instrumental in bridging the communication barrier that Ana Lidia experiences with the hospital.
Today is National Day of the #deaf in #Mexico, which commemorates the founding of the first public Deaf school in 1867. Nowadays, it’s a holiday used to bring Deaf awareness around the country. #wbglobal#deafMinistry#loveLooksLikeSomething
