Today we came together during our lunch hour to prepare over 1,000 ziplock bags full of snacks for homeless and impoverished children. A big thanks to a great non-profit organization Bright Blessings USA for the opportunity to give back to our community.

Laser scanned as-builts allow us to overlay MEP systems in the #BIM model to quickly compare the installation against the coordinated layout. This screenshot from the Charlotte Metro project shows the as-built point cloud in pink compared to the original BIM model in gray.

Today we attended the "Hardhats and Hamburgers" lunch as part of the @nawicnational #WomenInConstruction week. This week was created to highlight the growing roles of women in the construction industry and raise awareness for the opportunities that are available.

We recently visited one of @ABBNorthAmerica's facilities in Mebane, NC. We explored some of their electrical gear in the customer experience center and also toured their manufacturing lines. As designers and engineers, it is beneficial to see a product first hand.

Part of our prefabrication team is shown here at the 29 story Dominion tower in Uptown Charlotte. Our designers work with the contractor to develop spool drawings used to build prefabrication assemblies. This allows for improved productivity during installation.

This weekend we were honored to participate in judging the @NAWICCharlotte Block Kids Building Competition with @GSHNC. This national competition for kids grade K-6 is designed to introduce young women to the construction industry. #womeninconstruction #womeninengineering

We were on site at the topping out ceremony for the @Intimidators new ballpark. This is a great milestone for the sports and entertainment venue in Kannapolis, NC. We look forward to attending a game here! #bim #baseball #engineering

Check out this gas-to-energy system that we designed with @ReNewPetra for the White Street Landfill in Greensboro, NC. This system includes a 1.6MW generator that takes existing landfill methane gas and converts it to electricity.
